AI-Native DevSecOps Developer

About the role The I&O Platform Infrastructure AI-Native DevSecOps Developer designs and delivers bespoke internal software products that eliminate manual infrastructure workflows, accelerate provisioning and give engineers and stakeholders real-time, self-service operational visibility. Drawing on AI coding tools as a core development accelerant, this professional dramatically compresses delivery timelines — prototyping, iterating and shipping production-grade software at a pace that traditional development workflows cannot match. The role spans the full software development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through build, test, security hardening, deployment and ongoing improvement — with a security-first mindset embedded at every stage. The developer will own the product delivery end-to-end, partnering with I&O platform engineers, architects and service management stakeholders to ensure what is built reflects the real operational needs of the infrastructure estate and is designed to scale across EY's global data center footprint. Key responsibilities Design and deliver bespoke internal software products that eliminate manual infrastructure workflows and accelerate provisioning Use AI coding tools as a primary development accelerant throughout the development lifecycle Build full-stack software across front-end and back-end disciplines including Angular, Python or Go, REST and GraphQL APIs Develop and manage workflow orchestration platforms, particularly Temporal.io Apply strong Kubernetes engineering skills including deployment, Helm charts, operators, RBAC and namespace management Author Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning automation Design and implement DevSecOps pipelines with CI/CD, security gate integration and automated deployment Implement Policy-as-Code using Open Policy Agent (OPA) or equivalent Build AI-native product features including LLM integration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation patterns and AI-driven workflow decision making Take product ownership from problem statement through to production with minimal hand-holding About you 5–7 years of full-stack software product development and delivery 2+ years of AI-assisted software development as an active daily workflow 3–5 years of Angular front-end application development (v14+) 5+ years of Python or Go back-end service development 3–5 years of Kubernetes cluster management and application deployment 3–5 years of Terraform and Ansible Infrastructure-as-Code authoring Experience with Temporal.io or equivalent workflow orchestration platform (Argo, Conductor or equivalent) 3–5 years of CI/CD pipeline development with integrated security gates Experience with LLM API integration for production AI-native product features Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) or equivalent policy-as-code enforcement REST API design, development and documentation Container build, scanning and secure image management (Docker, Podman) Git-based source control and pull-request-driven development workflows (GitHub, Azure DevOps) SAST/DAST security tooling integration in CI pipelines ITSM platform integration — ServiceNow API or equivalent Agile sprint-based delivery with regular demo and release cadences Infrastructure provisioning workflow automation (VM builds, network configuration, DNS/IP management) Helm chart authoring for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment Strong software product ownership mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of Agile, Kanban, SCRUM and ITIL frameworks Benefits Competitive remuneration package rewarded for individual and team performance Comprehensive Total Rewards package including support for flexible working and career development Continuous learning to develop mindset and skills to navigate whatever comes next Tools and flexibility to make a meaningful impact your way Insights, coaching and confidence to be the leader the world needs Diverse and inclusive culture where you'll be embraced for who you are About us EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets.
