AI/ML engineer

Salary: $119000 - 197000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field. At least 8 years of experience with a Bachelors degree; or 7 years with a Masters degree; or 6 years with a Doctorate. Active and current TS/SCI security clearance with required polygraph. Open to working onsite full-time. Must be a U.S. citizen. Demonstrated experience in developing AI/ML applications focused on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or similar workflows. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common data and AI libraries. Experience in designing and utilizing REST APIs for data retrieval and integration. Knowledge of LLMs and their integration into applications. Responsibilities: Develop and manage RAG pipelines, covering document processing, embedding generation, retrieval configuration, and prompt assembly. Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications by utilizing available APIs and frameworks. Create and uphold REST API interactions to facilitate data retrieval and ensure system integration. Design or enhance Postgres schemas to optimize data organization and improve query performance.
