AI Embedded Engineer

Salary: $106000 - 153000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another closely related discipline. We are looking for at least 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence or a related area. We need a strong foundation in software engineering, AI, and machine learning. We value hands-on expertise in signal processing theory and applications, such as radar, communications, electronic warfare, sonar, audio, or biomedical domains. We expect familiarity with modern AI approaches, including computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. We prefer proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. We seek experience working with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or Keras. We also look for experience using Python libraries such as NumPy, OpenCV, scikit-learn, Pandas, and SciPy. We want candidates with strong self-direction, a solid work ethic, and effective time management. We require excellent interpersonal abilities and clear communication skills. Responsibilities: We develop and apply AI methods to solve complex signal processing challenges and deliver innovative solutions. We contribute across the full system development lifecycle, from requirements definition and design through implementation, integration, and flight testing. We lead critical technical efforts and take ownership of important deliverables. We guide and mentor junior engineers to strengthen technical capability across the team. We collaborate with cross-functional partners to build and deploy AI-enabled solutions. We explain complex technical ideas and solution approaches to non-technical stakeholders. We engage with other teams to identify and pursue opportunities for AI adoption. We help develop proposals and white papers to support funding for AI research and development initiatives.
