Full job description (as posted) ↓
Salary: $112,900 - 366,300 per year Requirements: We need at least 10 years of engineering experience in production environments, with depth in one cybersecurity discipline such as application security, SecOps or detection engineering, cloud security, identity and access management, offensive security or penetration testing, or governance, risk, and compliance. We require at least 2 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production; theoretical familiarity is not enough. We need at least 8 years of end-to-end security delivery ownership in a client-embedded or production setting; advisory-only or compliance-only experience does not qualify. We require at least 8 years working with cloud security fundamentals on at least one major platform, including IAM, network protections, secrets management, and AI service security settings. We expect a bachelors degree or equivalent experience, with 12 years of work experience in place of a degree; an associates degree requires 6 years of work experience. We need proven ability to communicate security risk in business terms and translate exposure into investment rationale that leadership can act on. We are looking for people-lead experience, including managing, developing, and performance-managing engineers, as well as setting development plans and holding career conversations. Responsibilities: We lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments across complex client environments, covering LLM systems, multi-agent pipelines, RAG architectures, and MLOps infrastructure. We deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools as our primary build environment to create AI-powered detection systems, automated response tooling, assessment frameworks, and governance automation. We own AI-specific threat surface management at programme scale, including OWASP LLM Top 10 controls, prompt injection hardening, model extraction prevention, adversarial input defenses, and AI supply chain security. We architect and govern AI security controls across the enterprise stack, including identity and access for AI systems, data pipeline security, model serving security, and integration risk across AWS, Azure, or GCP. We lead implementation of AI governance frameworks such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and model risk management in live production environments. We shape AI security strategy for client CISOs and CTOs by building risk-adjusted investment cases, security architecture roadmaps, and AI governance operating models. We define reusable security patterns, playbooks, and accelerators that can scale across multiple engagements and support the Secure AI practice. We facilitate architecture design sessions, threat modeling workshops, and code-with sessions with client engineering and security leadership teams. We contribute cybersecurity expertise in at least one discipline such as AppSec, SecOps, IAM, cloud, GRC, or offensive security. We support proposal and statement of work development, solution shaping, and client commercial engagement. We lead executive workshops and communicate effectively with C-suite and CISO-level stakeholders. We apply structured analytical thinking and hypothesis-driven problem decomposition. We lead and coach managers and consultants through delivery.
