Job Summary: The Advanced EPC Simulation Specialist is a critical role supporting complex Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects through advanced simulation, digital modeling, and data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on enhancing execution strategies across high-tech and capital-intensive industries including semiconductor manufacturing, AI-driven data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, and battery production plants. The position integrates project controls, planning, and construction execution knowledge to drive improved predictability, efficiency, and project outcomes. "This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership" #LI-SM2 Major Responsibilities: Develop and maintain construction simulations and 4D/5D digital models to validate project schedules and execution strategies. Integrate simulation models with Primavera P6 schedules and project controls systems. Perform scenario-based analysis ('what-if' modeling) to evaluate alternative construction approaches and mitigate risks. Support Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) implementation, including workface planning and Installation Work Package (IWP) development. Optimize construction sequencing, logistics planning, and workfront readiness. Utilize digital models to identify constructability bottlenecks and proactively mitigate field safety risks, such as congested work areas or complex lifting operations. Analyze project data and develop insights to improve productivity, forecasting accuracy, and execution performance. Collaborate with engineering, construction, supply chain, and project controls teams to ensure alignment between planning and field execution. Present simulation outputs and insights to leadership in a clear, structured, and decision-oriented manner. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management, Data Science, or a related quantitative/technical field and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in EPC project environments. Experience in project controls, including planning and scheduling. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, execution strategies, and integrated project delivery. Strong technical software proficiency, including advanced Excel and basic programming capabilities (such as SQL and VBA) to manipulate project data and automate workflows.
