Workday Integration Developer

Salary: $110,000 - 115,000 per year Requirements: Working knowledge of at least three Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, or Talent Management; experience across multiple domains is a plus. Experience with Workday custom objects, business processes, core setup, security frameworks, and the Workday data model. Understanding of Workday methodologies, feature releases, best practices, cloud-based multi-tenant systems, and information and data security. Experience developing Workday HCM integrations across at least three Workday domains or modules and optimizing Studio integrations according to Workday best practices. Proficiency with Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect; familiarity with APIs is expected. Proficiency in XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP web services, and related technologies. Experience with Workday security and access controls, as well as testing and deployment. Familiarity with HR processes, payroll, and benefits administration. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and follow-through. Workday Integration Certification, such as Workday HCM Integrations; VNDLY knowledge or experience is a plus. Understanding of Agile development processes, including requirements gathering and development intake; professional maturity, proactive partnership, and conflict-resolution skills. Responsibilities: Assess business requirements and select appropriate solutions using delivered Workday functionality, Extend, Orchestrate, integrations, or a combination of approaches. Develop, debug, design, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Cloud Connect. Work with APIs, including Postman, and SSK. Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, vendors, business partners, and business leaders to gather integration needs and support organizational HR technology. Maintain and troubleshoot integrations to ensure reliable data flow, accuracy, and integrity. Create technical specifications, process flows, and troubleshooting documentation. Apply Workday security and compliance protocols to integrations. Monitor integration issues and resolve them promptly. Participate in system upgrades, patches, and integration-related testing. Keep current with Workday integration best practices and apply them to solutions.
