About the role
Provide Level 2 production support and maintenance for business applications and batch jobs, ensuring operational stability and SLA compliance in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities Provide Level 2 production support for business applications and batch jobs to ensure operational continuity Monitor applications and troubleshoot incidents promptly to maintain SLA compliance Support and maintain Java/J2EE applications running in Linux/Unix environments Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency Execute SQL queries and analyze logs to identify and resolve application issues Support application deployments, job scheduling, and system monitoring activities Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues effectively Minimum 2 years of experience in application support or development Hands-on experience with Python, Shell scripting, SQL, and Linux/Unix environments Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE applications Familiarity with web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, and SQL Knowledge of job scheduling, MQ setup, and CI/CD setup is a plus Exposure to the banking industry is advantageous Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work well in a team environment
