Virtual Platform Administrator

The Role We are looking for a Virtual Platform Administrator to support and maintain enterprise VMware environments, ensuring platform stability, security, and performance in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments. Perform monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and capacity management. Support incident, request, change, and problem management processes. Validate backups and support disaster recovery activities. Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures. Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams. Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills 5+ years of infrastructure or virtualization administration experience. Strong hands-on VMware/vCenter administration experience. Experience with Windows and Linux server environments. Knowledge of ITIL processes, change management, and SLA-driven support. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Preferred VMware VCP certification. NSX-T exposure. Experience with enterprise monitoring, backup, and DR solutions. Automation or scripting experience (PowerShell/Bash)
