Vehicle Test Engineer

Job Description The division Cross-domain Computing Solutions (XC) develop innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics, driver assistance and automated driving. Through the combination of systems based on cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors, electric power steering and active or passive safety systems we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow. Your contribution to something big: ►Plan, execute and document system test/validation on real vehicles ►Analyse system and vehicle requirements and derive appropriate test cases ►Identify, reproduce, and report defects with clear technical evidence ►Support root cause analysis with development partners (SYS, HW, SW) and project manager ►Preparation and maintenance of project documents according to Bosch quality system ►Cooperate with international development, testing, and customer teams ►Participate in test drives, proving ground activities and customer validation events ►Supporting the improvement of test/validation processes Qualifications What distinguishes you: ► Technical degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics, computer science or comparable. ►B category driving licence with driving experience ►Basic knowledge about ADAS-functions ►Good technical analysis skills ►Analytical and creative way of thinking ►Structured working ►Ability to work independently and in team ►Ability to handle tasks flexibly ►Problem solving capability ►Good communication skills ►Target, process, and quality orientation ►Fluent English for daily communication ►Willingness to travel for business worldwide ►Experience in AI usage Advantages: ►Experience in field of verification and validation ►Experience with prototype vehicles ►German, Japanese language skill ►Good tolerance for monotony and dynamic working time ►Experience in Python, C, C#, Linux, Jira, GitHub ►Automotive vehicle network knowledge (CAN, Ethernet, Flex ray) ►Usage of Vector Tools ►ISTQB Certificate ►V-model ►ASPICE ►ISO26262 Company Description Do you want beneficial technologies being shaped by your ideas?
