Salary: $102000 - 153000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline, paired with 2 years of experience in a relevant field; alternatively, we will consider a masters degree with up to 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in a related field. We seek 2+ years of experience designing responsive web and mobile applications, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates strong UX outcomes. We need advanced proficiency in Figma, along with familiarity with prototyping tools and AI-assisted design workflows. We expect a solid grasp of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards. We look for experience conducting user research and turning insights into practical design decisions. We value the ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments. We require excellent communication skills and the ability to present design rationale to cross-functional partners. We need strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. We prefer familiarity with design systems and component-based design methods. Responsibilities: We translate business needs and user insights into intuitive, user-centered design solutions for desktop and mobile experiences. We support user research activities such as persona development, heuristic reviews, usability assessments, and competitive analysis to guide design decisions. We create and refine UX deliverables including user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and information architecture. We extend and apply our design system using reusable components, icon libraries, templates, and brand standards to improve consistency and efficiency. We collaborate with product managers, developers, content strategists, and UX leads to align on goals, constraints, and delivery approaches. We clearly communicate design reasoning in reviews and stakeholder presentations, advocating for user needs and business value. We participate in Agile ceremonies and workflows, providing design assets, specifications, and feedback throughout development. We support usability testing and analyze behavioral data to validate and improve design performance. We maintain detailed design specifications and work with developers to ensure accurate implementation, including user acceptance testing. We stay current on UX trends, tools, and technologies, and contribute to the evolution of team processes and design practices. We manage time effectively by estimating effort, planning schedules, and prioritizing work within sprint cycles. We use general-purpose LLM tools to analyze and synthesize user behavior, identify patterns, and prioritize opportunities. We use AI to accelerate discovery, experimentation, development, and recommend improvements. This role is ideal for designers ready to deepen their craft in design systems, interaction design, and user research while working closely with cross-functional partners in a collaborative environment. The position reports to a UX Manager or Product Design Lead and may involve occasional travel. We offer a competitive base salary of $98,300 to $147,500 per year, with potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation.
