This is a remote position. Hiring- UI/UX Designer Employment Status: Contract – 2 Months Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level (5+ years) Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (AEST) Monday to Friday Fully Remote Needed ASAP Salary: Negotiable We are urgently looking for a skilled and experienced UI/UX Designer to collaborate with one of our Australian clients on a 2-month contract. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-focused experiences and building high-fidelity interactive prototypes that closely simulate real application behaviour. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Figma , a strong understanding of user-centered design principles , and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with front-end development is a strong plus and will help bridge the gap between design and implementation. Candidates must be able to provide samples of previous UI/UX work, including interactive prototypes. Responsibilities: Design and develop a complete functioning one-page website and accompanying funnel as part of the project deliverables within the 2-month contract period. This includes end-to-end execution from concept and layout to responsive design, integration, and deployment. Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and development teams. Visualise the full flow of user experience and define the entire journey of a user story with prototypes, screen designs, wireframes, storyboards, etc. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and mind maps for the application. Work with the full-stack developer, providing them with all necessary assets, styling, and source files to build the UI. Design user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes using Figma. Create pixel-perfect, responsive designs for web and mobile platforms. Deliver design assets, components, and specifications for development handoff. Present designs to internal and client stakeholders, incorporating feedback through iterative updates. Maintain and evolve a consistent design system andcomponentlibrary. Identifyusability issues and propose intuitive design solutions. Must-Have Requirements: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. Advanced experience with Figma , including auto-layouts, components, variants, and interactive prototyping. Strong understanding of user experience and customer/industrial psychology. Minimum of 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design for complex web or mobile applications. Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Figma ,Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience using Bootstrap CSS and material design frameworks. Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability best practices. Strong portfoliodemonstratingdesignprocesses, interactive prototypes, and delivered products. Have a brand-orientedand user-centric approachto ensure all designs align with the company’s visual identity whileprioritisingoptimaluser experience. Must be able to provide samples ofpreviouswork , especiallyshowcasingreal-world interaction through prototypes. Nice-to-Have: Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers. Experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Webflow or Elementor .
