About the role

Our client is a well-established international organisation based in Brussels, operating in a dynamic and multicultural environment. They are currently looking for an HR Officer to reinforce their HR team for a temporary assignment of approximately 7 to 8 months. Jobomschrijving As HR Officer, you will provide operational HR support throughout the employee lifecycle and contribute to the smooth running of HR processes across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include: HR Administration Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases. Managing employee lifecycle changes, including onboarding, contract amendments, promotions and offboarding. Preparing employment contracts, certificates and other HR documentation. Supporting the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes. Payroll & Benefits Collecting and validating payroll-related information. Supporting the administration of employee benefits, insurance and leave management. Liaising with external payroll and benefits providers. Coordinating the administration of temporary workers and agency staff. Employee Support Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related queries. Providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. Assisting with employee relations matters. Recruitment & Onboarding Supporting recruitment activities from job posting to offer stage. Coordinating interviews and candidate communication. Preparing onboarding documentation and ensuring a smooth integration of new hires. Performance Management & Learning Assisting with performance review cycles and related administration. Tracking training needs and participation. Supporting the organisation of internal and external training programmes. Compliance & HR Projects Ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and internal policies. Maintaining confidentiality of employee information. Participating in HR projects aimed at improving processes and employee experience. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Officer or HR Generalist role. Good understanding of payroll administration and HR processes. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Service-oriented and proactive mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent command of English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is considered an asset.
