Responsibilities: Lead and Inspire: Effectively guide a high-performing engineering team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Solve Complex Problems: Apply strong problem-solving skills to tackle technical challenges, ensuring the successful completion of projects and initiatives. Mentor and Guide: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to squad members, maintaining high standards and adherence to industry best practices. Facilitate Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, content, design, SEO, and delivery—to ensure alignment and effective communication. Promote Growth: Cultivate a culture of learning and development, supporting the professional growth of team members through ongoing training, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities. Requirements Led the design and implementation of scalable solutions capable of handling large data volumes or high traffic with minimal performance impact. Skilled in modern frontend technologies, ideally including React.js , Next.js , and TypeScript. Skilled in modern backend technologies, ideally Node.js . Ability to still get in to the weeds & change code, this role is partially a hands on position Proficient in deploying applications to cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. Managed and mentored a team of Product facing engineers across multiple levels of seniority. Strong communicator with a track record of effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
