Technical Product Owner | On-site/Hybrid in Clark, Dayshift

We are looking for a Product Owner to own and prioritize the backlog of a dedicated software delivery team. This role is focused on execution and delivery rather than market-facing product strategy. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to transform high-level product goals into clear, actionable work that can be delivered efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for backlog management, story decomposition, prioritization, acceptance criteria, sprint readiness, and ensuring that product increments deliver measurable value. You'll be embedded within the team and remain involved from idea conception through delivery and release. Job Responsibilities: Backlog Ownership Own, prioritize, and maintain the team's product backlog Evaluate, classify, and prioritize incoming requests and initiatives Ensure backlog items are defined, sized, and ready for development Communicate prioritization decisions and trade-offs clearly Product Definition and Planning Define business problems, desired outcomes, and success measures Create clear user stories and acceptance criteria Break down large initiatives into manageable, deliverable increments Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and priorities Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with software engineers, architects, and designers Participate in discovery, planning, implementation, testing, and release activities Collaborate with product management to align team execution with broader product goals Facilitate communication across product, design, and engineering teams Agile Delivery Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization activities Ensure work is sequenced based on business value and delivery readiness Support the team throughout development and release cycles Continuously refine processes to improve delivery effectiveness Acceptance and Quality Management Define and maintain clear acceptance criteria Validate completed work against agreed requirements Accept or reject delivered work based on quality and business expectations Ensure completed features meet customer and business needs AI-Enabled Product Delivery Create clear, structured requirements suitable for both human developers and AI-assisted development workflows Continuously improve how work is documented and specified Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation within product delivery processes Skill Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Agile Business Analyst, or similar product delivery role Proven experience owning and prioritizing a software development backlog Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments Ability to decompose complex initiatives into smaller, deliverable increments Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience collaborating closely with software engineers and UX/UI designers Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Technical literacy sufficient to understand system discussions and engineering trade-offs Willingness to work onsite in Clark, Pampanga or relocate if necessary Work Location: West Aeropark, Clark Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PH Time, Monday - Friday Arrangement: On-site for the initial months, with eventual flexibility for hybrid
