About Brightpath Technologies Labs Brightpath Technologies Ventures Labs is the venture-building arm of Brightpath Technologies. We act as the tech co-founder for exceptional founders, taking full ownership of product and engineering execution in exchange for equity. Our portfolio companies build vertical AI products that do the work, replacing defined labor workflows with autonomous software rather than adding another dashboard. We ship MVPs in six months and back ventures with a clear path to breakeven within 18 months. About the role: Building digital products has changed. Product definition, validation, and architecture now carry more weight than writing code by hand, but shipping real software still requires engineering judgment: testing, debugging, system design, and production reliability. We are looking for one person who can own the end-to-end creation of new venture products. You will be the hands-on builder behind each new lab's venture. You take a founder's vision and turn it into a working product, from discovery and scoping through architecture, AI-driven development, validation, and launch. You will have direction and input from the company's Partners and the advisors for each vertical, but the execution is yours. What you will do: Own the full product creation cycle for new ventures: discovery, definition, scoping, architecture, build, testing, launch, and iteration Translate the founder's vision and advisor input into clear product specs and working software Build AI-first: use agentic coding tools as your primary development method, with the engineering rigor to review, test, and debug what they produce Make architecture decisions: data models, integrations, infrastructure, and the tradeoffs behind them Validate before building: prototypes, user testing, and direct conversations with the founders and early customers of each vertical Ensure quality in production: QA, debugging, monitoring, and reliability Coordinate additional Brightpath Technologies engineers as ventures scale beyond a single builder What we are looking for: Must have: Engineering degree, ideally Computer Science, other engineering disciplines welcome. We hire for structured thinking and a scientific mindset 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, having shipped complete, user-facing products. Full-stack experience preferred 2+ years in a Product Management role, owning discovery, prioritization, and delivery AI-native way of working: you use agentic coding tools daily and can show us a product built primarily with them, and walk us through your workflow Startup experience, you have lived the ambiguity and pace of an early-stage company Professional working English, you will work directly with US-based founders and advisors Based in Latin America Strongly preferred: Founder or co-founder experience (CEO, CPO, or CTO), including ventures that did not work out Experience taking a product from zero to first paying customers Exposure to outcome-based or value-based business models Who you are: Proactive, you move without waiting for instructions A clear communicator, in writing and in conversation, with founders and with engineers Organized and structured, you bring order to ambiguity Entrepreneurial, you think like an owner, not an executor Curious, you learn new domains fast and go deep when it matters Why this role You will build new companies, not features.
