Technical Lead (React Native)

Overview Technical Lead, Mobile Engineering is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for shaping and scaling OneRail’s mobile application ecosystem that powers real-time last mile orchestration, driver workflows, and enterprise delivery visibility. This role exists to ensure our mobile solutions are reliable, performant, and resilient in real-world logistics environments where connectivity may fluctuate and operational precision is critical. Responsibilities Own and evolve the architecture of OneRail’s mobile applications built in React Native with native iOS and Android integrations. Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance mobile solutions supporting real-time logistics workflows. Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into intuitive, reliable mobile experiences for drivers and operational users. Ensure application performance, responsiveness, quality, and stability in production environments. Establish and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, observability, security, and CI/CD pipelines. Conduct and contribute to regular code reviews to maintain high engineering standards. Build and maintain reusable software components, shared libraries, and mobile infrastructure that integrate with backend. Analyze, benchmark, and optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and efficiency. Balance feature development with technical debt reduction and long-term platform sustainability. Improve developer experience through tooling enhancements, workflow automation, and release process optimization. Mentor and develop mobile engineers, supporting skill growth and career progression. Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of top mobile engineering talent. Qualifications 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant hands-on mobile development. 2+ years of experience in technical leadership or team lead capacity. Strong experience building and scaling React Native applications in production environments. Solid understanding of native mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their integration with cross-platform frameworks. Proficiency in React Native, TypeScript Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and real-time service integrations. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance business priorities and technical excellence. Excellent communication and collaboration skills (Polish B2+ & English B2+) Office location: Kraków, Poland Work Style: hybrid (2-3 days from the office / week). Salary level: 28 000 – 32 000 PLN/ month
