Remote Thanks for your interest in Solstice Analytics ! We are searching for a Systems Engineer to join our team. Position Description Solstice Analytics is transforming the future of energy, and we’re looking for a Systems Engineer with 3-5 years of dedicated experience in requirements management within regulated industries. In this role, you will support the requirements management process across complex, multidisciplinary engineering efforts. You will be responsible for ensuring requirements are well-structured, traceable, verifiable, and integrated into our product lifecycle. Your work will support the design and deployment of Solstice Analytics 's products and services. Specific responsibilities may include: Lead the configuration and use of Flow Engineering for the development and management of requirements across engineering teams Collaborate with design, analysis, and regulatory teams to define and manage clear, verifiable, and traceable requirements Develop and maintain requirement hierarchies, traceability matrices, and verification plans Drive consistency and quality of requirements across technical disciplines, helping ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards Train and support team members in the use of Flow and best practices in systems thinking, requirements development and traceability throughout the design lifecycle Leverage systems thinking knowledge and expertise to support system owners/responsible engineers in ensuring system interfaces are clearly defined and executed Champion requirements change control and configuration management processes Competencies Organized: Organized and proactive in managing information and tasks Passion: Passionate about clean energy and making advanced fission a reality Analytical: Ability to think in structured, hierarchical frameworks Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a drive for clarity and precision Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as nuclear, mechanical, or aerospace engineering. 3+ years of experience in a requirements management role for complex engineering systems Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work across diverse technical teams Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with systems engineering and/or requirements management tools and solutions, including configuration, customization, and end-user support Advanced degree in engineering or systems engineering Familiarity with systems engineering standards such as INCOSE and experience applying MBSE principles Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g. aerospace, nuclear, automotive, defense) Who you are: A startup person : You aren't driven by titles or hierarchy, and prefer efficiency to excess process. About Solstice Analytics travel requirements: Solstice Analytics requires remote employees to travel to headquarters (Santa Clara, CA) twice a quarter annually, based on business or team needs, including attendance at team meetings, off-sites, and other company events or gatherings. For the first two weeks of onboarding, employees are required to be in person at headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. About Solstice Analytics compensation Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 Salary may fall outside of the range provided and will be dependent on applicant experience.
