Systems Engineer

Salary: $94000 - 122000 per year Requirements: We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science, though we may consider an equivalent mix of education and practical experience instead. We typically look for 5+ years of experience administering Hyper-V and Windows Server, along with Office 365 administration; comparable demonstrated expertise may also be considered. We need advanced Windows Server and Hyper-V administration skills, plus strong enterprise networking knowledge. We require advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities. We value hands-on experience with Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration. We look for comfort supporting security tools such as SIEM and EDR platforms, including alert triage. Nice-to-have experience includes SQL Server administration, ERP familiarity, SOX-compliant environments, VMware, and Linux administration, especially RHEL or another enterprise distribution. Responsibilities: We deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain physical and virtual servers in Hyper-V and VMware environments. We manage our Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 platforms, including Intune, networking, storage, and backup. We provide Level 2 and Level 3 helpdesk support and collaborate closely with our Cyber Administrator and Infrastructure Administrator. We support multi-site IT initiatives and contribute ideas to improve infrastructure performance and reliability. We assist with security operations, including SIEM and EDR tooling, alert review, vulnerability scanning, and backup and disaster recovery planning.
