Salary: $78000 - 90000 per year Requirements: We need advanced expertise in enterprise routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, routing protocols, STP/RSTP, and network diagnostics. We require proficiency in administering Linux operating systems and enterprise server environments. We need a strong grasp of SIP, RTP, VoIP, PBX systems, and unified communications platforms. We require experience with GPON/EPON fiber access infrastructure. We need familiarity with virtualization platforms, storage systems, and high-availability architectures. We value experience deploying and supporting point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless networking solutions. We require knowledge of firewall administration, network security principles, and infrastructure hardening. We need the ability to assess complex technical problems, manage priorities, and deliver effective resolutions. We require strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. We need the ability to produce detailed technical documentation and clearly communicate infrastructure changes. We prefer at least five years of experience supporting enterprise networking, systems administration, VoIP, or telecommunications infrastructure. We prefer experience in ISP, telecommunications, managed services, hospitality, or multi-site enterprise environments. We prefer industry certifications such as Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, CompTIA, VMware, Linux, or similar technical credentials. We will consider an equivalent combination of education, military training, certifications, and relevant experience. We require a valid drivers license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record. We require the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. We expect availability for after-hours maintenance, scheduled change windows, and on-call rotations as needed. The role may require occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs and working in MDF/IDF rooms, telecom closets, racks, rooftops, outdoor facilities, ladders, and confined spaces. Responsibilities: We design, implement, maintain, and support our enterprise network, systems, and voice infrastructure across residential, hospitality, commercial, and MDU properties. We configure, maintain, and support hosted and on-premise VoIP and unified communications platforms. We troubleshoot SIP voice services, including trunking, dial plans, call routing, codec negotiation, NAT traversal, registration problems, and RTP issues. We coordinate customer voice provisioning, platform migrations, DID administration, number porting, and carrier communication. We support voice deployments across hospitality, MDU, commercial, and enterprise settings. We maintain E911 compliance and endpoint provisioning standards. We design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching infrastructure across multiple sites. We administer VLANs, routing, switching, STP/RSTP, LACP, QoS, and inter-site connectivity. We plan, implement, and maintain network redundancy for fiber transport and carrier connectivity. We administer firewall platforms and apply network security policies and best practices. We diagnose and resolve network performance issues such as latency, packet loss, bandwidth usage, and spanning-tree events. We deploy, configure, and maintain GPON/EPON OLT infrastructure for our fiber access network. We support FTTH and FTTN rollouts while coordinating carrier circuit installations and handoffs. We maintain accurate topology documentation, equipment inventories, and configuration standards. We deploy, configure, and maintain point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless backhaul systems. We optimize wireless performance, capacity, and reliability across distributed service locations. We monitor wireless infrastructure and proactively address issues that could affect service. We administer Linux-based servers, virtualized infrastructure, and enterprise storage platforms. We configure and maintain virtualization environments, including clustering, high availability, storage replication, and disaster recovery. We install, maintain, and upgrade physical server hardware, firmware, storage systems, and related infrastructure. We administer core services including DNS, DHCP, NTP, authentication, and directory services. We deploy and maintain monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. We maintain network diagrams, IP address management records, operational documentation, and technical standards. We participate in change management, incident response, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure improvement efforts. We perform other related duties as assigned by our supervisor.
