Systems Administrator

Salary: $96000 - 110000 per year Requirements: 8+ years of experience managing Windows and Linux systems 8+ years of experience with upgrades, installation, and configuration of application software and hardware 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and providing technical support for servers and networks Strong problem-solving and communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Masters degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially Azure and OCI, is a plus Experience with transit scheduling systems, like Trapeze and HASTUS, is preferable Responsibilities: Acquire knowledge of the HASTUS system to support Bus and Rail Scheduling Operations teams Analyze security scan results and devise steps to mitigate vulnerabilities at both server and application levels Oversee the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of computer hardware/software and infrastructure Assist and lead teams in transitioning existing environments to the cloud utilizing technologies like Azure and OCI Ensure compliance of systems with agency policies, standards, and guidelines Conduct systems administration, engineering, provisioning, operations, support, maintenance, and research for continuous improvement Perform daily system monitoring to confirm hardware integrity, server resources, system availability, and critical processes Review system and application logs, ensuring completion of scheduled tasks such as backups Conduct regular security monitoring to detect potential intrusions Manage daily backup operations and file archival/purge as necessary Administer user accounts, including creation, modification, and deletion as requested Provide Tier III and additional support as necessary and troubleshoot issues Diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures while effectively communicating with stakeholders Regularly implement OS patches and upgrades, updating administrative tools/utilities as needed Configure and add new services as required Maintain operational documentation and perform performance reporting for capacity planning Technologies: Azure Cloud Hardware Support Linux Security Windows Ada More: We are Keystone AI, a global services firm with a workforce of over 9,000 associates and an annual revenue exceeding $1.3 billion.
