Staff SW Engineer, Command and Control

📋 Description Design, implement, and maintain mission management software components. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and planning. Test, debug, and document software functionality. Identify and communicate requirement issues early. Interface with mission planning, ground software, and platform engineers. Support production stability and constellation operations. Manage on-call rotations and live system troubleshooting. Support Launch and Early Operations of new satellites. Other duties as assigned. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's or Master's in CS/math/physics/statistics or equivalent. 8+ years of software development experience. Fluent in Python, strong in Go; other languages as needed. Expert in software design, data retrieval/storage, algorithms. Proactive in identifying and solving problems. Strong team and cross-team collaboration skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Able to manage several concurrent tasks and priorities. US citizenship may be required for some programs. Satellite basics: orbital mechanics, attitude dynamics. Software/hardware performance optimization expertise. Experience automating complex systems (satellites, fleets, drones).
