Staff Software Engineer, Video Enablement

📋 Description Design, architect, and support video features across the pipeline at scale. Lead the Video Engineering team and align with PM/EM. Collaborate with mobile/web/backend teams to deliver video features. Review designs and code; provide guidance and hands-on help. Build internal SDKs and tooling for video integration across products. On-call rotation to support production video systems. 🎯 Requirements Strong background in video/audio streaming, esp live user content. Experience designing scalable video pipelines in cloud environments (AWS preferred). Deep knowledge of codecs/packaging: HLS, DASH, MPEG, RTMP, FFMPEG, DRM. Hands-on dev across live and VOD workflows; end-to-end video stack. Proficiency in C#, Go, C++, Rust, Python; plus Node/Typescript, React, Kotlin/Swift. Experience designing/building internal APIs/SDKs and mentoring; on-call readiness. 🎁 Benefits Remote US or Manhattan office. Unlimited vacation. Technology stipend: $4,000 every 2 years.
