Build and maintain scalable AWS-based backend applications for trade order management systems.
📋 Description Contribute technical expertise and design input to a cross-functional team Participate in full software development lifecycle from design to deployment Build, enhance, and maintain scalable AWS-based backend applications Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely support for critical trading workflows Partner with internal teams to diagnose root causes and improve reliability Coach and mentor engineers while delivering secure, high-performing enterprise apps 🎯 Requirements A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent 8+ years of software engineering experience 6+ years in Java or Kotlin (or a modern backend language) Experience with design patterns, OOAD and SOLID, and automated unit tests Building and supporting cloud-native applications, AWS Frontend knowledge: React, JavaScript, TypeScript; willing to work across stack 🎁 Benefits Experience engineering in buy-side order management systems Working knowledge of complex financial instruments and valuations Background in mathematics Experience with FIX and/or SWIFT protocols
