ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (L4) to join Halcyon Labs ’s DOM team, working on one of the most strategic initiatives in the platform: the evolution of our Order Management and Order Allocation systems. In this role, you will help design and build a new agent-based order workflow, enabling merchants to customize how orders are processed, routed, and fulfilled across different use cases and markets. This is a hands-on role where you will work on high-scale, mission-critical systems, solving complex problems at the intersection of distributed systems, platform architecture, and AI-driven orchestration. This is a hands-on role where you will work on high-scale, mission-critical systems, solving complex problems at the intersection of distributed systems, platform architecture, and AI-driven orchestration WHO YOU ARE You are a strong backend engineer with experience in distributed systems. You have worked in high-scale, mission-critical environments. You are comfortable dealing with ambiguous problems and helping shape solutions. You communicate clearly and can work with multiple stakeholders and leadership levels. You are confident in providing technical input and pushback when needed. Experience with cloud (AWS), messaging systems, and .NET/C# is a strong plus. Experience or interest in AI / agent-based systems is highly valued.
