The position is in the Data Platform Engineering team, which is helping our customers engineer smart and well-informed decisions, by harvesting the power of diverse and well-curated healthcare data, at scale. Responsibilities Design, develop, deploy, test, support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies Design and develop user friendly, responsive web interfaces using modern web application frameworks Utilize programming languages like Java, SQL, Python (for the backend) and JavaScript, HTML/CSS (for the frontend) Should have expert level knowledge in RDBMS/SQL and NoSQL databases Deploy the micro services seamlessly using Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS managed services and tools Adept at troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performance issues Should be a team player and excel in fast-paced agile environments Expecting a fast learner by keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in backend and front-end development. Preferred Qualifications: One of the following degrees (preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Electronics or Electrical Engineering): Bachelor of Technology (BTech) or Master of Technology (MTech) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Sciences (MS) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Preferred Skills (Must Have): 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Java development 5+ Years experience with JavaScript (with modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.js) Extensive experience in SQL and NoSQL technologies Demonstrated experience in Caching, queuing, scheduling, concurrent and event-driven architectures Demonstrated experience of developing applications on/for Linux platforms Should have proven track record of implementing distributed systems and microservice architectures (RESTful APIs) Involved knowledge of best practices for implementing secure web applications Strong experience with AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure, GCP and/or other clouds Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment techniques Nice to have skills: Experience in data pipelines would be an added advantage. Experience in Big Data technologies like Snowflake, Datastax would be a plus This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (e.g. H-1B, TN, or E-3).
