Staff Python Engineer
We are looking for a Staff Python Engineer to join a greenfield initiative building a large-scale distributed backend platform for advanced manufacturing environments.
The role focuses on defining system architecture, APIs, and data flows for highly scalable, event-driven systems with complex integrations and strong reliability requirements.
– Lead the design and implementation of large-scale distributed systems
– Define backend architecture, APIs, and data models
– Drive technical decisions across multiple services and components
– Design scalable integrations with enterprise platforms and external systems
– Build reliable data pipelines and event-driven workflows
– Improve system performance, resilience, and scalability
– 8+ years of software engineering experience, including extensive Python development
– Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems
– Strong software architecture and system design expertise
– Deep understanding of microservices and distributed system patterns
– Experience designing scalable APIs and enterprise integrations
– Strong database design and data modeling skills
– Experience with concurrency, performance optimization, and high-availability systems
– Ability to make architectural decisions and balance technical trade-offs
– Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence
– Fluent English
