About the role We are looking for an experienced Staff Product Designer to join us at a critical juncture as we evolve how our users interact with Lumen Dynamics through agentic solutions. You will lead the effort to help establish when, where and how we utilize AI to consistently help the consumer in the moment, providing them with proactive experiences. You will partner closely with Product to define a roadmap for success. This role focuses on building a hybrid search and discovery interface that seamlessly balances the high-intent efficiency of traditional UI with the discovery power of AI. In addition, you will help create a unified vision on how AI can transform our consumer touchpoints. What you’ll do Own and drive design AI and agentic initiatives for Lumen Dynamics’s Consumer experience, delivering high-impact, customer-centric solutions that align with business objectives. Design intuitive, conversational, and agentic patterns that feel proactive and helpful, moving beyond reactive commerce to anticipation. Define the design language for Lumen Dynamics’s future AI-driven interactions, prioritizing trust, clarity, and predictable outcomes for our users. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, marketing, and research to drive innovation and deliver seamless, intuitive experiences. What we look for AI Product Design & Strategic Vision AI/Agentic Design Experience: Proven track record of designing AI-driven, agentic, or conversational user interfaces that deliver real user value. Advanced Prototyping: Proficiency in prototyping non-linear, multi-modal user flows to test and validate complex AI interactions. Human-Centered AI Principles: Strong understanding of HCAI principles, focusing on user trust, transparency, system feedback, and explainability. High-Stakes Design: Ability to navigate and design for complex, high-stakes consumer financial products where trust is paramount. Leadership & Strategy Experience at Scale: 8+ years of product design experience with significant time dedicated to problem solving complex experiences and shipping new products. Proactive & Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and take initiative to drive progress. Strong Product Sense: You deeply understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints—and can balance them effectively in your design decisions. Lumen Dynamics focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
