Staff Engineer, Propulsion (R5899)

📋 Description Serve as the Responsible Engineer for assigned propulsion hardware or capabilities from Own engine performance and integration activities, including requirements, interfaces, operability Lead technical design reviews, supplier engagements, and hardware procurement while ensuring Plan and execute propulsion testing, including instrumentation, procedures, data acquisition Analyze ground and flight data to understand engine behavior, quantify margin, identify anomalies Lead failure investigations and root cause efforts using analysis, inspection, testing, and data to 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering 7+ years of experience in propulsion development, integration, testing, or flight operations, with Strong understanding of fundamental principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer Experience with propulsion hardware integration, instrumentation, testing, flight support, and Strong proficiency in aerospace industry tools and methods, including Python or other data analysis Fast-paced environment experience, demonstrated ability to drive ambiguous technical problems to 🎁 Benefits Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (full-time) Temporary benefits package after 60 days of employment (temporary employees) Equal opportunity employer
