Lead the vision and architecture for the observability platform, designing scalable metrics, logging, and analytics solutions.
📋 Description Lead the vision and architecture for the observability platform. Design scalable metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and analytics solutions. Investigate production issues, find root causes, drive long-term fixes. Partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, availability, and performance. Establish observability standards, best practices, and instrumentation frameworks. Build tooling and automation that enable faster incident detection and resolution. 🎯 Requirements 10+ years in software engineering with distributed systems. Strong expertise in observability: monitoring, logging, tracing, telemetry pipelines, and incident management. Experience operating large-scale production systems with reliability, scalability, and performance. Deep understanding of debugging, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and production ops. Strong programming in Go, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar.
