📋 Description Lead AI-powered product experiences across Datadog's visualization and investigation surfaces. Build systems combining deterministic features with LLM-powered experiences. Drive innovation in context engineering, prompt engineering, and AI reliability. Partner with teams to improve investigation workflows and help customers gain insights. Enable Datadog's capabilities to operate within third-party AI platforms and agents. Provide technical leadership and mentorship; establish AI engineering best practices. 🎯 Requirements Extensive software engineering experience at staff engineer level. Hands-on production AI products and customer-facing experiences using LLMs. Experience building reliable systems that manage non-determinism with evaluation and testing. Product-minded engineering linking decisions to customer outcomes. Experience collaborating across teams and influencing direction without authority.
