Sr Supplier Engineer – Electronics, Future Forward

📋 Description Lead Supplier Engineer on a design project and influence the design architecture, component Responsible for DFM, cost modeling, commodity knowledge, to support supplier selection and BOM cost Responsible for qualification of all components and launch plan. Post launch, responsible to drive suppliers to continuously improve business and manufacturing Partner with design engineering to understand design intent and ensure critical design outputs are Influence the Engineering team to select component technology that meets requirements for short- 🎯 Requirements Demonstrable knowledge of a wide range of Electronics, motors, cable assembly, and PCBA-related General understanding of manufacturing processes including metal fabrication, plastics injection Ability to work alongside design engineers and assess supplier capability during the design Demonstrable knowledge in evaluating and challenging supplier technical, quality, and business Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations to executive level Excellent Interpersonal skills and team building skills. 🎁 Benefits Market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity.
