Sr. Software Engineer (Frontend) - Access Management

Role Overview As a Senior Software Engineer on the Access Management team, you will play a key role in building and scaling the foundations of Cerby's SaaS platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while owning the quality, scalability, and security of the platform. What You Will Do Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain high standards of software delivery. Requirements 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Experience developing and maintaining Distributed Applications Previous experience mentoring junior developers and conducting security-first code reviews Expertise in core frontend technologies, including React, Next.js, and TypeScript Experience building scalable, high-performance React applications with Next.js for SSA Experience working with design systems to ensure UI consistency, reusability, and scalability Proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and utility-first frameworks like TailwindCSS Cloud platforms (ideally AWS) Applying deep knowledge of frontend security best practices to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities Designing responsive, maintainable, and accessible UI components Writing unit tests, integrations tests, and component tests to ensure robustness and prevent regressions Building and maintaining component libraries that align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards Software engineering practices such as Agile and Scrum, CI/CD, Collective Code Ownership Architecting and designing distributed, fault-tolerant, high-availability, and resilient systems Proven ability to instrument distributed systems with well-designed telemetry and observability code Ability to own and drive the software development from design through development, testing, delivery and production release Benefits Remote work Security-first engineering culture Embracing AI as a core part of how we work Opportunities for growth and development Competitive salary and benefits Originally posted on Himalayas
