Sr Software Developer

Salary: $140,000 - 195,000 per year Requirements: 10+ years of software development experience. Experience with NIST 800-53, security control lifecycles, and Integrated Development Environments. Experience with API development platforms and/or build automation tools. Experience with AWS, Azure, Python, and SQL. Experience with C# or equivalent certifications/experience. Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts in federal environments, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, or military organizations. Experience on the same or a similar contract, with in-depth knowledge of the customer environment, requirements, and operations, is highly desirable. Security+ certification meeting DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements. Bachelors degree preferred. Top Secret/SCI clearance. U.S. citizenship. Preferred experience developing applications for classified or national-security environments. Preferred experience with secure DevSecOps practices, cloud-native development, modernization of legacy enterprise applications, and COMSEC or cryptographic-accountability systems. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications supporting COMSEC mission operations. Build secure application features and automated workflows. Develop and integrate APIs. Help modernize legacy COMSEC applications. Write maintainable, secure, well-documented code. Troubleshoot software, debug issues, and resolve defects. Participate in code reviews and software quality-control activities. Support CI/CD and build-automation practices. Integrate applications with databases, services, and external interfaces. Support cloud-based and hybrid application environments. Apply security controls throughout the software development lifecycle. Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and implementation procedures. Collaborate with system engineers, database specialists, cybersecurity personnel, and operations teams. The target salary range is $140,000–$195,000, with final compensation depending on the candidates qualifications and experience, contract parameters, and organizational requirements.
