Sr. Propulsion Software Engineer

Salary: $95000 - 133000 per year Requirements: We are looking for experience in software requirements analysis, solution design, coding, test plan development, and verification for base software. We expect hands-on knowledge of reviewing and inspecting requirements, design artefacts, C/C++/assembly code, and test plans. Familiarity with virtualization approaches and techniques used across the base software development lifecycle is important. You should be able to work with other teams and vendors to gather and clarify software requirements. Experience with base software diagnostics and low-level driver software development is a plus. Responsibilities: We develop foundational software components for propulsion system control modules. We analyze software requirements, design solutions, write code, create test plans, and carry out testing for propulsion system base software. We conduct formal reviews and inspections of requirements, design documents, source code, and test plans. We apply virtualization methods and techniques throughout the base software development lifecycle. We collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to define and refine software requirements.
