For more information, visit www.enterprisedb.com Candidate Note: This position is 100% remote for those based in the UK/EU We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the execution and growth phase of our Analytics products, with particular focus on the Lakehouse Ecosystem and Realtime Analytics. This role requires a deep technical understanding of core database technology and modern innovations around analytics workloads. You will be onboarded into a fast-moving team that operates like a startup within EDB, moving at rapid pace to win customers and Bring Analytics to Postgres. Your Impact will be: Define, champion and execute the year-long vision and strategy for our next-generation Postgres Analytics platform, informed by customer insights and emerging trends within the Lakehouse ecosystem Serve as the key subject matter expert on advanced data technologies, specifically the Lakehouse Ecosystem (including Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake), Apache Spark, ClickHouse, and modern Cloud Data Platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera, and the modern data platforms at AWS, GCP and Azure) Conduct market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and deep customer/stakeholder interviews to identify key unmet needs and opportunities where EDB is uniquely positioned to win Translate high-level strategy into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams Work directly with senior engineering teams to direct execution of the vision according to dynamic customer requirements and field feedback Own the long-term roadmap, balancing immediate engineering needs, critical maintenance, and forward-looking feature development What you will bring: Demonstrated success as a product manager for complex, data-intensive infrastructure software for enterprise analytics workloads with Warehouse/Lakehouse architectures Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to discuss highly technical concepts with different audiences, whether they’re customers, executives or engineers Hands-on attitude toward product development. You’re an early adopter who gets your hands dirty with new products before they’re ready. You win the trust of engineering teams and field teams by engaging at a deep level with the products you own Curiosity and excitement about Generative AI tools and how you can leverage them as a Product Manager to create prototypes, validate integrations and rapidly experiment with new ideas What will give you an edge: Technical background or experience as a practitioner of data engineering and analytics Understanding of the Postgres ecosystem, and open source communities Familiarity and experience with both stable and emerging technologies in the Data ecosystem, including Clickhouse and Apache Spark Familiarity and experience with the Lakehouse ecosystem, open data/metadata formats like Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake, and the competitive landscape of this ecosystem Thought leadership and passionate opinions about analytics technologies informed by hard-won experience architecting, deploying and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms A background in software engineering or data architecture is a significant plus EDB is committed to supporting our employees' overall well being by offering a range of benefits and resources to promote a healthy work-life balance and wellness.
