About The Role The Senior Manager of Identity Governance will provide technical leadership and operational oversight for CrowdStrike's IAM program, with direct responsibility for the Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) team. This role supports CrowdStrike's global workforce and internal systems, ensuring secure, scalable, and user-centric identity services across the enterprise. Reporting into CrowdStrike's internal cybersecurity organization, the Senior Manager will partner closely with Information Security, IT, Engineering, and business stakeholders worldwide to deliver IAM services that enable the business while maintaining a security-first posture. What You'll Do The Senior Manager of Identity Governance is responsible for leading, delivering, andcontinuously improving IGA capabilities across the enterprise. Lead and manage globally distributed teams responsible for IGA, and supportingenterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, SaaS, and public/private cloudenvironments. Define, execute, and scale a comprehensive Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) andgovernance framework, with a heavy focus on securing Non-Human Identities (NHI)including service accounts, API keys, secrets, certificates, and autonomous AI agents. Partner with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to embed IAM controls into productdevelopment lifecycle and platform architecture. Own the operational health, scalability, and reliability of IAM platforms and services,ensuring timely and accurate access delivery. Establish, refine, and enforce IAM processes, tools, and operating models that balancesecurity, compliance, and user experience. Partner with Information Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure IAM servicesalign with zero-trust principles, internal policies, and industry standards. Act as a key point of engagement for business and IT stakeholders to understand accessrequirements and deliver secure, scalable identity solutions. Champion the implementation of least-privilege methodologies and industry-leadingstandards throughout the identity lifecycle, prioritizing the persistent optimization of userpermissions and the enforcement of rigorous privileged account protections. Lead engineering efforts to build automated IAM workflows and enterprise applicationintegrations, optimizing self-service access requests, birthright provisioning, approvals,and continuous access certifications. Define service level expectations and measure IAM performance, availability, andcustomer satisfaction. Review IAM-related project designs and delivery to ensure alignment with cost, quality,and schedule expectations. Guide the documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement of IAM-relatedpolicies, procedures, and standards. Recruit, develop, and retain IAM talent, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, andcustomer-focused service delivery. What You'll Need: Extensive technical background in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA),demonstrating a successful history of architecting and overseeing large-scale RBACframeworks. Proven expertise in identity protocols tailored for machine and Non-Human Identities(NHI), with deep knowledge of SPIFFE/SPIRE, mTLS, secrets management, andenterprise token exchange frameworks. Solid understanding of risk management and information security strategy, controls, andbest practices. Proven history of streamlining identity lifecycles through automation while ensuring theoptimization of user permissions across cloud, SaaS, and on-premisesecosystems to mitigate over-privileged access.
