Sr Mainframe Developer

Salary: $124,800 - 137,280 per year Requirements: At least 8 years of experience. Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS, and DB2. Strong CICS programming skills, including CICS screen programming. Hands-on development and coding experience, including MQ Series and IMS DB. Experience with version control. Effective communication with team members and clients, along with strong problem-solving skills. Experience building and maintaining new test regions is preferred. Experience with banking compliance and regulatory platforms is preferred. Responsibilities: Develop and implement solutions to address complex business challenges, support data-driven decision-making, and improve operational efficiency. Prepare architecture and design documents for complex banking applications, accounting for constraints that affect implementation. Write secure, high-quality code that works effectively with other subsystems. Challenge conventional approaches and bring creative ideas to improve operations. Troubleshoot issues, collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to understand complex requirements, and translate them into design and development work.
