Sr. Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Salary: $140,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements: We require an active Secret Security Clearance. We are looking for 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, or a related discipline. We need 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience. We require 3+ years of experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. We need 3+ years of experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines. We require 4+ years of PowerShell scripting experience. We are looking for experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub, and Ansible. We need experience with hybrid-cloud and on-premises integrations. We require strong knowledge of Azure networking services, including VNets, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Application Gateway. We are looking for experience implementing cloud security controls and compliance requirements. We require proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Bash, YAML, and JSON. We need strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities: We design, deploy, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and services. We manage Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, Managed Disks, and Azure Active Directory. We support cloud modernization efforts and enterprise infrastructure optimization. We automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, ARM Templates, and Ansible. We develop automation using PowerShell, Python, and Bash, and create reusable templates and deployment frameworks. We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins, supporting automated deployments, testing, and release management. We implement Azure security best practices, including RBAC, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure DDoS Protection, and encryption for data at rest and in transit. We ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD requirements, while supporting vulnerability remediation and security monitoring. We monitor environments with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Activity Logs, and troubleshoot performance issues. We configure and manage networking components such as VNets, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, and Application Gateway. We support hybrid-cloud integrations with on-premises environments and assist with migrations using Azure Migrate, Azure Arc, and Azure Site Recovery. We implement backup and recovery with Azure Backup, manage storage lifecycle policies and snapshot automation, and help ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness. We collaborate with DevOps, Security, Engineering, and Government stakeholders and provide technical guidance on Azure architecture and operations.
