About the role: We are seeking a Solutions Designer - Mid Level to join our Architecture team at NCS Philippines in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in designing and architecting technology solutions that meet our clients' business requirements and strategic objectives. As a Solutions Designer, you will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex business challenges into comprehensive, scalable technology solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the delivery of high-impact solutions that drive digital transformation for our clients. Key responsibilities: Analyse client business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technology solution architectures Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with industry best practices and standards Develop solution design documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and technical roadmaps Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, and technical teams, to ensure solutions meet business objectives Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to support solution design requirements Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation and deployment phases of projects Conduct solution design reviews and assessments to identify risks, dependencies, and optimisation opportunities Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure solutions remain competitive and innovative Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to the development and growth of the architecture team What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) 5-8 years of professional experience in solutions design, systems architecture, or related roles Demonstrated expertise in designing enterprise-level technology solutions and system architectures Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern application development frameworks Experience with infrastructure design, network architecture, and security best practices Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications Solid understanding of software development methodologies and IT service delivery models Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions Relevant industry certifications (such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or equivalent) are highly desirable Experience in specific industry verticals (finance, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications) is preferred What we offer: At NCS Philippines, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and wellbeing of our employees.
