As we continue to expand our presence in the region, we are looking for a Solution Engineer to partner with our sales team, customers, and channel partners to drive business growth and deliver cybersecurity solutions that address today's evolving security challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of Japan's largest enterprises, critical infrastructure operators, and government-related organizations while collaborating closely with global product, engineering, and leadership teams. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers strengthen their cybersecurity posture and achieve their business objectives through OPSWAT's innovative technologies. We are seeking candidates based in Tokyo who are fluent in Japanese and passionate about helping organizations solve complex cybersecurity challenges. What You Will Be Doing Partner with the regional sales team and channel partners to drive enterprise business growth across Japan. Engage with customers to understand their business objectives, security challenges, and technical requirements. Design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions that align with customer needs and strategic goals. Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops, and executive briefings. Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, including security architects, IT teams, and CISOs. Lead technical discussions throughout the sales cycle, from discovery and evaluation through deployment planning. Support Proof of Concepts (PoCs), solution validations, and customer implementations to ensure successful outcomes. Prepare and deliver high-quality responses to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires. Enable and certify channel partners, resellers, and system integrators on OPSWAT technologies. Represent OPSWAT at industry conferences, seminars, webinars, and customer events. Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to ensure customer success and provide market feedback. What We Need From You Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Fluent Japanese language skills and strong professional communication abilities. 5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Presales, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role. Experience working with cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise software solutions. Strong presentation, demonstration, and customer engagement skills. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and enterprise IT environments. Experience conducting technical discovery, solution design, and customer workshops. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders. Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about solving customer challenges. High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cybersecurity solutions such as malware prevention, sandboxing, endpoint security, network security, data security, secure file transfer, or critical infrastructure protection. Experience deploying and troubleshooting enterprise applications in Windows and Linux environments. Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of APIs, integrations, and automation technologies. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Knowledge of databases such as MySQL or MongoDB. Experience working with OT/ICS cybersecurity environments. Experience collaborating with channel partners and system integrators. Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent. Knowledge of enterprise networking technologies and vendors including Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Dell Technologies, Extreme Networks, and others. OPSWAT is an equal opportunity employer.
