Solution Architect

Summary The Solution Architect guides the analysis, design, and technical activities throughout a project, defining the solution architecture while aligning with client requirements and organizational standards. Main Responsibilities: Create and maintain the Solution Architecture Document (SAD) and obtain validation from the Architecture Review Board. Identify the technologies to be used for the project in collaboration with Application and Enterprise Architects. Recommend development methodologies, frameworks, and coding guidelines based on architecture standards and business requirements. Provide the overall design and structure of the application. Ensure compliance with the defined architecture in the final solution. Identify software engineering tasks for the project manager. Coach and guide other technical team members and assist with difficult tasks. Help the project manager estimate project costs and technical aspects. Collaborate with testing staff to identify infrastructure requirements and support needed. Document and communicate technical decisions. Maximize reuse of existing assets and guidelines in the project. Key Requirements: Strong experience in solution architecture and design. Proficiency in various development methodologies and frameworks. Experience with technical documentation and architectural standards. Ability to guide technical teams effectively. Strong communication skills for collaboration with other stakeholders. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.). Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of specific software languages relevant to the project. Other Details: Location: Brussels. Language: ENG. Hybrid mode of working, 50% onsite per week.
