Software Quality Engineer Senior

Job Description Work together with the software development team to enhance and improve the software applications; Create test cases (from requirements, previously identified issues or bugs, etc.) to identify software problems; Analyze and document bugs and errors found during tests; Report the test results to the software development team; Analyze and test the software security; Provide tests and methods to ensure high data quality; Perform manual and automatic testing: Integration, Regression, Black-box, Customer Acceptance, User Interface, Security; Argue with the development team against the requirements if something still requires development rework; Performs routine inspections and quality tests (automated and exploratory); Report a bug by creating a ticket in Jira within a default template (e.g. steps to reproduce the bug, environment (test, train, and production), logs, expected result, actual result, and rate reproduction). Qualifications Good understanding of REST-API functionality, implementation and adaptability; Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases; Previous experience with API testing tools (Postman, etc); Previous experience with automated test web-frameworks e.g.: PlayWright, Cypress, Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter or others; Previous experience with debugging tools (e.g. Jest, Mocha or Vue/Chrome/FF Dev Tools); Good scripting language skills in JavaScript, Python or others. Great to have: Previous experience with IT application versioning; Any testing certification (e.g. ISEB/ISTQB Qualified (Foundation level upwards)). Previous experience in Atlassian Toolchain (e.g. Jira, Confluence); Previous experience with agile development process, including understanding the main concepts of Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
