Software Integration Engineer

Salary: $99000 - 138000 per year Requirements: We require experience defining reusable, hardware-independent application software architecture with standardized interfaces for engine, transmission, and electrification programs. We need prior involvement in engineering teams developing software for EE/core and powertrain control modules. We expect hands-on experience implementing RTE configurations and generating RTE files. We require the ability to develop software variant management strategies for engine, transmission, electrification, and hybrid projects in line with AUTOSAR architecture. We need knowledge of multi-core runnable mapping and software component partitioning to optimize embedded controller resource usage. We require experience allocating SW components according to functional safety ratings. We expect the ability to design software architecture for propulsion system functions and features. We require experience creating software architecture guidelines for application and BSW layer development. Responsibilities: We define reusable, hardware-independent application software architecture with standard interfaces across engine, transmission, and electrification initiatives. We collaborate with engineers developing software for EE/core and powertrain control modules. We implement RTE configurations and produce RTE files. We develop and maintain software variant management approaches for engine, transmission, electrification, and hybrid programs under AUTOSAR architecture. We map multi-core runnables and partition SW components to use embedded controller resources efficiently. We allocate software components based on functional safety requirements. We design software architecture for propulsion system functions and features. We establish architecture standards and guidelines for application-layer and BSW-layer software development.
