Software Engineering Director, Infrared Data Products

📋 Description Manage an organization of managers, data scientists, and software engineers. Lead ultra-low latency, high-reliability data processing pipeline for FireSat data. Identify and drive measurement of metrics to improve image pipeline performance. Create long-term technical strategy and roadmaps for infrared/visual imagery products. Train and model best software engineering and data science practices. Communicate clearly to customers and partner teams about capabilities and roadmap. 🎯 Requirements BS/MS/PhD in CS, computational math, electrical eng, data science, or related. 5 years of software management experience. Experience building high-volume, ultra-low latency data pipelines, ideally with CV. Experience with geospatial data engineering principles and tooling. Expert understanding of software engineering processes (estimation, DevOps, testing).
