Software Engineer with Strong Networking Skills

We are seeking a collaborative and curious Engineer to help drive and develop our CI infrastructure and agent runtime forward. Introduction & Summary Continuous Integration (CI) is at the core of our developer experience. Our growth and widespread presence means we run CI against a number of target platforms. In a context where swift flexibility is of utmost importance, we need to provide CI environments that enable the rest of the company to deliver functionality to our customers with both speed and safety. This role will be part of a team collaboratively creating and owning our CI and agent runtime infrastructure for us aiming to provide our engineers with a streamlined, simple to use and safe build experience at scale. The role is located in the Platform Developer Experience (PDX) studio within the Platform Mission. The PDX Studio oversees and owns the infrastructure that cuts across all engineering disciplines. Main Responsibilities Execute on our future CI infrastructure strategy that is able to serve 3000+ engineers doing hundreds of thousands of builds daily and beyond. Support with Operational tasks keeping our systems healthy and up to date. Drive the automation and improvements of our CI agents across our current technical stacks. Help scale our CI infrastructure to support large-scale monorepos. Collaborate with sibling teams to discover what a best-in-class CI infrastructure means. Key Requirements 6+ years of experience in building and implementing large-scale systems across various projects and teams. Proven experience with Linux, MacOS, and Windows system administration. Strong programming skills in Java and Python. Experience deploying to and implementing solutions in GCP, Azure, and/or AWS. Familiarity with networking fundamentals. Understanding of software engineering best practices such as testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. Experience with provisioning Mac agents for CI in previous projects. Nice to Have Experience with Buildkite and TeamCity. Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and Packer. Expertise in Docker. Other Details Start: Asap or August Length: 6 months Location: Sweden
