Salary: $174000 - 235000 per year Requirements: We need at least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience. We need at least 2 years of experience in design or architecture for new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling. We need at least 1 year of experience as a software development engineer or in a similar role. We need at least 1 year of experience designing and building large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl. We need at least 1 year of object-oriented design experience. We require a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. We need programming experience in at least one software language. Preferred: we value experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Preferred: a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background is a plus. Responsibilities: We design, develop, test, and deploy distributed machine learning systems and large-scale solutions for our global customer base. We collaborate with our team to shape strategy and define the roadmap. We drive system architecture and establish best practices that support a high-quality product. We help coach and develop junior engineers. We work with engineers and scientists on innovative AI services in the information retrieval space. We build AWS AI services using machine learning and large language model technologies. We contribute to foundational AI services that help customers solve complex business challenges.
