Software Engineer, Phantom Works

Salary: $126,650 - 217,350 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree or equivalent. We require an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance; a clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active. We require 5+ years of software engineering experience. We require 5+ years of experience with Java and/or C++ object-oriented programming. We require 3+ years of experience leading software development projects. We require 1+ years of MATLAB experience. We require eligibility to meet U.S. export control compliance requirements and be a U.S. Person. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role. Responsibilities: We lead the planning of software development work, including detailed design, coding, and unit, integration, functional, and system testing to meet acceptance criteria. We partner with stakeholders to shape system definitions and translate system-level needs into software requirements and models with clear traceability to design, code, and test artifacts. We review software system analyses to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and we drive mitigation actions across the lifecycle. We lead code reviews to confirm alignment with requirements and standards. We oversee test completion, verification activities, and issue resolution for software systems. We review product and process alignment with project plans and industry standards by tracking internal team and supplier performance. We mentor and coach junior engineers in software development. We interface with multiple software programming languages.
