Job Description – Software Engineer (Java) Job Title: Software Engineer Experience: 1–4 Years Job Summary We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in Java development to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. The candidate will work closely with the development team to deliver quality software solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java technologies. Understand business requirements and convert them into software solutions. Write clean, efficient, and secure code following company standards. Identify and fix software bugs and technical issues. Perform unit testing and support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issues. Work with Business Analysts to understand and review project requirements. Coordinate with Team Leads to ensure software meets technical standards. Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements. Maintain technical documentation and update system configurations. Ensure applications follow security and quality guidelines. Complete assigned tasks within project deadlines. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 1–4 years of experience in software development. Hands-on experience in Java application development . Experience in software development, testing, debugging, and maintenance. Knowledge of Spring, Oracle Database, WebLogic Server, MyBatis, and JSP will be an added advantage. Good understanding of software development processes and coding standards. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good written and spoken English. Willing to travel when required. Personal Skills Good communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Able to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and software quality. Self-motivated, responsible, and customer-focused. Preferred Qualifications Oracle Certified Professional (Java) certification will be an added advantage. Experience working on Java-based enterprise applications. Familiarity with application support, system integration, and production troubleshooting.
