Come join a team of innovators and problem-solvers who are reshaping the future of data! The Role We are looking for a strong engineer to join our ecosystem team. This team works on ingestion and query execution stack over the observability data layer. In this role, you will be expanding the query capabilities with a very high focus on query performance and reliability. We are looking for engineers who have a growth mindset, performance nerd and enjoy working on systems. Responsibilities Build scalable and performant Ingestion plugins to get the data into Lumi. Build new functions and expressions to query the data from Lumi Work on making the query engine highly performant. Support the team through code and design reviews Be on-call for any escalations pertaining to ecosystem team Requirements Working knowledge of distributed systems At least 3 years of experience working as a backend developer Experience with one or more of the programming languages such as Java, Go, C, C++, etc. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Bonus Points Past experience working on internals of a database What We Offer Provident Fund - Employer will contribute Equivalent to your contribution to the Provident Fund Private Medical Insurance Paid Time Off Phone/Internet Allowance Home Office Equipment Reimbursement Individual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications aligned with Aperture Cloud’s internal levelings guidelines and benchmarks.
