Software Engineer II

📋 Description Contribute to features end-to-end from implementation and testing through deployment and production Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, and distributed microservice architectures Implement and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes for large-scale applications Build and maintain Kafka-based event-driven systems, including producers, consumers, and consumer Develop and optimize Elasticsearch indexes, mappings, and search queries for high-volume search Support applications running in Kubernetes environments, including basic operational troubleshooting 🎯 Requirements 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications Experience developing APIs, backend services, and/or microservices in a distributed systems Hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js, with exposure to delivering customer-facing Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, querying, and basic performance Familiarity with Kafka or other event-driven messaging systems Exposure to Elasticsearch or similar search technologies 🎁 Benefits Full suite of health insurance options, in addition to generous paid time off Pre-planned company-wide wellness holidays Retirement options Health & charitable donation stipends Impactful Business Resource Groups Flexible work hours & the opportunity to work from anywhere
